The latest seasonal allocations for December 2021 have been announced by the Storage Manager.

Total inflow to reservoirs during November was around 2,500 megalitres, or around 19% of average for the month. Inflow combined with lower than forecast evaporation from reservoirs during November has enabled a further 6,200 megalitres to be allocated to the System Reserve. Bulk entitlement rules require a total of 15,000 megalitres to be allocated to the System Reserve once Wimmera-Mallee Pipeline Product entitlements reach 57% allocation. The System Reserve volume is now 12,400 megalitres.

Allocations for Wimmera-Mallee Pipeline Product entitlements remain at 57% this month, and the Glenelg River Compensation Flow entitlement remains at 1% allocation. No allocation has been possible to Recreation, Wetlands or Commonwealth Environmental entitlements.
