October allocations for the 2025/26 water year have been announced by the Storage Manager.

Wimmera-Mallee Pipeline Product (WMPP) entitlements increased from 7% to 12% allocation. Additionally, no allocation was possible to Glenelg River Compensation Flow, Recreation, Wetland and Commonwealth Environmental entitlements.

Modest inflow during September helped to increase WMPP allocations to 12% for 2025/26 water year. An additional 3.9 GL of water resource was also secured for the system reserve.

Future increasing in allocation will be contingent on new water entering the system through inflow or realised evaporative / transfer losses on the system less than the assessment provision.
