Water supplied to rural properties may come from a rural pipeline, groundwater or surface water diversion, depending on where your property is located.

We encourage all customers to follow the Permanent Water Saving Rules to help reduce water use and protect our supplies.
Is the water safe to drink?
No
Water supplied through rural pipelines, groundwater or surface water diversions is untreated and not suitable for drinking. It can be used for household activities such as watering, flushing toilets or bathing, as long you’re careful not to swallow the water.
