Safe to drink?

No

The water is not safe for drinking. However, you can still use this water for household activities, such as watering gardens, flushing toilets, irrigation and laundry. You can also use it for showering or bathing, as long as you're careful to avoid swallowing the water.

Water supply

Your water is groundwater that comes from the Murrayville Water Supply Protection Area (WSPA). The town of Murrayville is right in the middle of the 1,578 square kilometre area. The WSPA is bordered by the Murray Sunset National Park and the Big Desert.
